Under the Education programme the organization is implementing the following activities.

1. Formal school for the slum children who are unable to offered English medium schools are studying in English medium.
2. School dropouts education through residential programme
3. Street & abandon children Hostel programme.
4. Commercial sex worker’s children Hostel and Educational support programme.
5. Parallel teacher services in the Government schools at Thally block.
6. Early learning centers for the age group of 3-6 years where there is no such centers.
7. Child laborers school under the National child labor programme.
8. Teaching learning improvement capacity enhancement trainings and linkage programmes.

2. Socio economic Development:

Under this component we formed self help groups in all the working area where ever we work. Women groups are the instruments foe the improvement of their own family economic status by obtaining assets building activities. For this NELIND CO support has availed by the groups. All together 600 self help groups are functioning from VIDYANIKETHAN.  Out of them 100 groups are existing in RPDP (Rural poor developmental programme in 127E project villages.

3. Community health sector:  
Under the health activities of RPDP project we concentrates the activities such as

• ANC & PNC care and support.
• Immunization and its importance.
• Nutritious food and its importance.
• Kitchen garden programme.
• Early stimulation activities.
• Community play and their Rejuvenation.
• Sanitation & safe drinking water.
• Referral services.

5. Eco - sanitation:

These models are also built in the Govt schools. This was very much appreciated and attracted by the people in rural areas. This helps to stop open air defecation. In terms of save the underground water from the culmination.
As its name implies its economy environmentally safer. Human waste can value added and promotion of organic agriculture.

A project supported by TdH-NL ID RPDP 127E. Its office functions from MEC campus, we are grateful to the MEC, for its kind consideration. Under the project we cover 30 villages which are interior in Thally block. We are working for the poor families at this vicinity. Vocational courses like computer training, tailoring training are also a part of its activities. Almost 100 adolescents’ youths both the gender is benefiting out of this; we work in 4 sectors, in all the villages.

6.    Nelindco Project:
TdHNL is supporting for women financial status improvement. The project ID 127 N&O. This is greatly helpful for the rural poor women to come up in their lives towards to economic sustainability. The beneficiaries (Target community) are also shared their gratitude for the valuable supports, through self help groups.

MARGASUSI PROJECT

Project Id: IN 127A

Margasusi project is purely working for Female Sex Workers. The physical area we cover from Dharmapuri to Bangalore National High way & State High way roads. 153 families are concentrated through this project on the basis of their vulnerability factors. The main areas of development are education, health and their socio- economic development of their families. 50  children of the female Sex Workers are accommodated in the ‘Margasusi Home’. The families are also concentrated to provide health services and safe practices in their profession. Activities like condom distribution, preventive care, counseling and referral services for STI services and referrals for CD4 test are being done regularly.
To enhance self confidence, capacity building, decision making, difficulties management, quality education our staff have been given Personality development like personal hygiene, sanitation, child rights, yoga &meditation at regular intervals for the children. 

Yoga and Meditation workshop are also regular. In this children learnt about mind relaxation, breathing benefits, improving memory power and such other mental activities. Yoga meditation is practiced by children every morning to improve their mental attitude.
